In The Beginning. . .

This special place is where creation began in the Garden of Eden. Then Abraham and the children of Israel followed. The Old Testament prophets later inhabited its cities. Jesus Christ, God’s Son lived, died, and was resurrected there. The Apostle Paul traveled its seaways and established the first New Testament churches in this region. Many of the apostles were martyred there on account of their dedication to Christ. The most important events in God’s eternal plan for mankind have all taken place on this geographic stage…the Middle East.

The book of Acts tells us that most of the early Believers originated from this area and the region was predominately Christian. Unfortunately, after a few centuries, the church fell into a state of religious decay. Because of this, the number of followers of Muhammad grew rapidly. Many people fell under the yoke of Islam with no true hope for peace or salvation. Over the last century, wars, natural disasters, and turmoil have ravaged the Middle East and North Africa. Looking for answers and real hope, entire nations are questioning their beliefs.

Today, by God’s grace and mercy, many in the Islamic world are finding and embracing true hope and peace through Jesus Christ. Once more the Spirit of God is moving mightily among Believers where the early church began. We are grateful to the Lord that He has entrusted Mission International to take part in this harvest. Now is the time to share God's love with millions of Muslim's who are searching for the truth. All over the Middle East and Northern Africa, many are turning to Jesus Christ.
